Wilhelmina Reed was a character on the original incarnation of Harpers Falls. She was played by actress Marilyn Chris, best known for her role of wacky Wanda Webb Wolek, diner owner and good friend, on the long-running soap, One Life to Live.
The Harper's housekeeper[]
The often hilarious and tell-it-like-it-is Wilhelmina is the daughter of the late Anna Reed, a former housekeeper of the Harper family. She was also a cook at the Harper mansion.
Her passion, though, was her family. Namely her brother, James, and his daughter, Emily.
When Emily's maternal grandmother passed away, it was her father's family who came into the picture to help her through things.
After Emily and James left town to move to Maine; Wilhelmina also moved to Maine, namely Ogunquit, so to keep an eye on her brother! Her no-nonsense nature keeps her brother on his toes, and she also provides her niece with a mother figure.
