Kimberly Serena Almquist is a character on the series, Harpers Falls. She is played by actress Allison Siko, who is perhaps best known for her role of Kathleen Stabler, the bi-polar daughter of Elliot Stabler on the series, Law and Order, Special Victims Unit.

When the Almquist family were conceived, and Allison was cast as Kimberly, she had suggested that actress and author Isabel Gillies (who had played her mother, Kathy Stabler, on SVU) be cast as her mother on HF.

Her family is somewhat well-known to their area of Cambridge, living in the area between MIT and Harvard. While the collegians scorn her as townies, Kimberly Almquist doesn't allow it to let her get to her. She just takes it in stride.

Kimberly was born in Los Angeles, California, but she has lived in Cambridge most of her life. She and her family moved there when she was three years old.

Her life has been full of learning and education, considering that she lived between two of the nation's most foremost centers of learning. She doesn't allow the townie name to get to her.

Her father, Jonathan Almquist, works in selling electronics to major corporations; while her mother, Audraina is a former actress and model who now works with Samantha Bennett at her modeling agency. Kimberly is doted on by her loving parents.

While in college, Kimberly studied government and politics, a major which served her well in her present position as a Senate aide.

While living in Cambridge, she also gained some idea of becoming involved in New Age studies. She found a kindred spirit in book store owner Aurora Harper. The fact that she was a member of the Harper family, one of the most well known families in all of New England, only impresses her parents all the more.

While Kimberly studies New Age philosophy, she is also very focused at her job as a Senate aide, constantly working hard, especially during the legislative sessions. This helps her family out, and she is glad to help.

She loves her life in Beacon Hill, both in her home in Cambridge, and at the State House. She is extremely content.
